Sara Gómez is a multilingual storytelling consultant with more than 20 years’ experience in global health, particularly sexual and reproductive health and rights. She holds an MPH in Maternal and Child Health from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, and has collaborated with organizations and communities across Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the US. In recent collaborations with FP2030, Group Care Global, CENTRS Health and Save the Children she has used storytelling for movement building, behavior change and to promote awareness about innovative healthcare strategies. Sara supports organizations in approaching storytelling in a way that prioritizes the dignity of those whose stories are being told, centering the perspectives of those with lived experience and lifting up underrepresented voices. She works with changemakers, using storytelling to shift the narratives that perpetuate inequity, and build a better world.
