Chelsea L. Ricker, MA (United Kingdom, she/her) - Chelsea provides over 20 years of experience in
training, capacity building, and curriculum design in sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice,
with a particular focus on activism and movement building, sexual and gender-based violence
prevention and response, comprehensive sexuality education and health service provision, and sexual
orientation and gender identity. She has worked with large-scale institutions and organisations to design
field-leading guidance in rights-based, gender- and age-responsive education policy and health service
provision; meaningful youth engagement, advocacy and funding; and training and capacity
strengthening programmes centred in values clarification and critical feminist pedagogy. She has worked
in over 30 countries spanning 7 regions and including both humanitarian and development contexts. In
all of her work, Chelsea strives to challenge status quo solutions and amplify innovation and progressive
feminist voices. In her consulting practice, Chelsea offers instructional design and organisational
strengthening services to multilateral institutions, funders, and international and local civil society
organisations, and has designed and conducted participatory youth-led research on agency, power, and
access to SRHR. Chelsea has also designed virtual training, digital courses, and e-learning curricula for
the International Rescue Committee, OneWorld UK, the Prevention Collaborative, Rise Up’s Youth
Champions Incubator, and others. She holds a BA in Religion and Human Rights from Columbia
University in New York and an MA in Education, Health Promotion, and International Development from
the Institute of Education at the University of London.
